Children at St Mary’s

Children are welcome at all of our St Mary’s services.   We have a special parents area in our church where parents can sit with their children whilst they play with quiet toys, and still be very much part of the body of the church.

Music Playtime
Music Playtime meets each Thursday from 10.00am til 11:30am in the parish centre.
The session incorporates actions, rhythm, singing and stories with parents and carers joining in.   The sessions are suitable for babies, infants and pre-school children and are followed by tea/coffee and free play.   Gold coin donation.
We don’t meet during school holidays.

Kids Church
We have special “kids church” activities that operate during our 5pm service.  The children join their parents for the beginning and end of the church service.  During the bible reading, sermon and prayers time of the service our pre-school and primary school aged children can go with their teachers to the activity rooms next to the auditorium and have fun learning about the bible through stories, games, craft and songs.
